Here’s part one of my day in Santa Monica with the sweet and adventurous Tatiana Penskaya. There is a moment when you are at the beach where you become one with the sand. You realize the hopelessness of trying to keep it from crawling into your hair and up your bathing suit. You decide to pay the price of temporary discomfort for a beautiful memory in nature.
