September. The calm before the storm. I remember going to Kyiv. It felt like Russia, but freer. It had it’s rough edges too, a seedy underbelly, yet the people somehow appeared more optimistic. Things were heading in the right direction, even if slowly. Pretty sure that’s all gone now. I hope I will get to return. I hope I get to meet more people like Nika.

Then I asked it to tell me one about crazy men and without hesitation it gave me some lame anecdote unfit for my standards. The point is that AI has both a bias and a poor sense of humor. Maybe that is our future–a humorless one. We will walk on eggshells around everyone so as not to offend or hurt feelings. Damn, I miss the 90s. Enjoy today’s crazy lady.

A lot of what I say is BS. You must have noticed this by now. Like when I said that I was shooting bottle rockets at cats. Do you know how hard that would be? Obviously, they were Roman candles. Sheesh. But seriously, something that isn’t BS is that Athena Fleurs is terrific. Picking up a young woman like her from the airport on a hot summer night and immediately jumping into naughtiness makes your humble narrator feel alive. I hope Athena had as much fun as she appears have to in this update. Some shit can’t be faked. God bless.
